Julia Higginbothan Cabral, 94, of Chappells, SC, widow of Manuel Borges Cabral, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021 at her home.

Born in Fort Eustis, VA, she was the daughter of the late Russell Higginbothan and Catherine Sottak Higginbothan. Julia enjoyed reading, bird watching, and playing cards, and she loved spending time with her family. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Greenwood, SC.

Surviving are a daughter, Paula Crews (Robert) of Chappells, SC; two grandchildren, Melissa Johnson (Phillip) and Robert Crews, Jr. (Carrie); six great grandchildren, William Swofford, Jr., Savannah Crews, Matthew Johnson, Dalton Crews, Meighan Swofford and Julia Crews; and two great-great grandchildren, McKinley Swofford and Coleman Swofford.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
