Obituary
Julia Cappadona Walden, 98, of Greenwood, widow of Carl Walden, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023 at NHC of Greenwood.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore Cappadona and Hazel Radford Cappadona. She retired from United Nuclear as a quality control inspector for nuclear rods and was a member of Real Life Ministries. After retirement she was employed with Lowes and JCPenny.
She is survived by her daughters, Wanda Burnsed (Ronnie) of Ninety Six and Julie Andras of Greenwood; brother, Salvatore Cappadona (Norma) of FL; and grandchildren, Daniel Wesson (Patty) of Ninety Six and Clay Burnsed of Aguada, Puerto Rico.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Mr. Ivan Southerland officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
The family is at the home of her daughter, Wanda, 1804 Island Ford Road, Ninety Six, SC 29666.
