Frances June Griffin Butler, 87, of 3064 Fruit Hill Road, Ninety Six, wife of Walter Lee Butler, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Laurens County Hospital.
Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Rufus O. Griffin and Fannie Mae Cromer Griffin. She was a member of Lakeside Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She is survived by her husband, Walter of the home; sister, Peggy Ann Bennett of Saluda; brother and sister-in-law, Albert P. and Pat Butler of Baytown, TX; nieces, Connie Bennett and Susan Bennett; great niece and nephew, Amber Bennett (Ben Ginn) and John Bennett, III (Mitchell) both of Saluda; and great great niece, Livi Ginn.
She was preceded in death by a nephew, John W. Bennett, Jr.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Butler home with the Rev. Marty Dorn officiating.
The family will be at the home of her niece, Connie, 424 Fairfax Road, Chappells, SC 29037.
