Kanda Gray Brunson, 71, of 1422 East Scotch Cross Road, wife of Raymond Brunson, passed away Monday, August 6, 2018 at her home.

Born in Lake City, SC, she was a daughter of the late William Ralph (W.R.) and Rebecca Holladay Gray. She was formerly employed by HospiceCare of the Piedmont and was a member of Harris Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are her children, Tyler Brunson (Perrin) of Columbia and Greg Brunson (Keeper) of League City, TX; a sister, Connie Langley of Lake City; two half sisters; three half brothers; and grandchildren, Maggie Brunson, Sylvia Brunson, Ali Brunson, and Shepherd Brunson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Gray.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday at Harris Baptist Church with the Rev. Frank Thomas and Rev. Ashley Brunson officiating.

The family will receive friends before the service from 11:00 – 12:00 p.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to HospiceCare of the Piedmont, 408 W Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646.
