Karen Boxwell Inscore, 56, of Troy, wife of Craig Inscore, passed away Monday, October 16, 2023 at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.
Born on July 14, 1967, in Leesburg, VA, Karen was the loving daughter of Thomas and Joanna Boxwell. Throughout her life, Karen exemplified strength, determination, and a kind-hearted spirit that touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
After starting her journey in real estate in Fairfax, VA Karen dedicated 26 years of her life working in I.T. at Long and Foster Real Estate. Despite her career accomplishments, Karen remained humble and down-to-earth, embodying a simplicity that endeared her to others. Her passion for work extended beyond her professional life, as she ran a farm for over 12 years, bringing that drive from Missouri to start another farm in Troy, SC.
Apart from her professional achievements, Karen found immense joy and fulfillment in the love she shared with her husband, Craig Inscore. Their love story began in Virgina and blossomed into a lifelong partnership filled with affection and support.
Karen had a deep love for animals and cherished her fur babies, Rose and Sarge, including the late JD her fur baby of 15 years. Her compassionate nature extended to every living creature she encountered, and her pets held a special place in her heart.
In addition to her husband, Craig and parents, Thomas and Jo-Anna she is survived by her brother, Dwayne Boxwell (Stephanie) mother-in-law, Beatrice Inscore; and sisters-in-law, Tami North and Twyla Powers, brother-in-law Cary Inscore, and many nieces and nephews.
