Dovie Katherine White Sorrow, 76, of 128 Grace Street died Sunday, October 11, 2009 at Wesley Commons. Born in Lincolnton, GA, she was a daughter of the late James Major and Mary Jane Myers White. Ms. Sorrow was the owner and operator of Sorrow�s Income Tax Service and a charter member of South Greenwood Assembly of God where she was in the Miller Sunday School Class. Surviving are a son Stephen L. Sorrow of Greenwood; a sister Elizabeth White Thompson of Greenwood; five brothers, James Hugh White of Charleston, H. Lawrence White of Calhoun Falls, William Ray White of Greenwood, Eugene S. White and Joel L. White, both of Columbia; two grandchildren, Sarah Rambaran and Stephen James Sorrow; and two great grandsons, Jared Rambaran and Joshua Rambaran.
