Kathie Foster Gary, 76, widow of George L. Gary, Sr., died Monday, July 10, 2017 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Atlanta, GA, she was a daughter of the late Herman S. and Ruth LeMaster Foster. She was retired from Upton's and was a member of New Life Baptist Church and the Senior Adult Sunday School Class.

Surviving are her children, Les Gary (Pat) of Greenwood and Suzan Sessions of Georgia; a sister, Sylvia Smith of Six Mile; grandchildren, Gina Grogan (Trey), Nicole Laughlin, Noel Laughlin and Abby Sessions, all of Greenwood, Sergeant Jeremy Gary (Julie) of Savannah, GA and Nick Laughlin of Fort Knox, KY; and eight great grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bud Tumblin officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Gary, Trey Grogan, Nick Laughlin, Calvin Cannon and Tyler Hastings.

Honorary escort will be members of the Senior Adult Sunday School Class of New Life Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
