Kathleen McKee Davis, 88, of 214 Eastman Street, widow of William Carol Davis, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at her home. Born in Hart County, GA, she was a daughter of the late George Raymond McKee and Claudia Martin McKee. She was retired from Greenwood Mills, Mathews Plant, where she was a member of the Quarter Century Club. She was a member of Restoration Ministries and the Ladies Adult Seniors Class. Surviving are three daughters, Judy Fellows and her husband, Buddy, of Abbeville, Peggy Wideman and her husband, Wallace, of Greenwood and Kathy Schofe of Augusta, GA; two sisters, Bobbie Lee Bowers of Prosperity and Roberta Lipe of McCormick; seven grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five sisters, Margaret Boland, Lovice Ellison, Mary Lou Hilley, Ruth Shirley and Nell Sparks and a brother, George Raymond McKee. Pallbearers will be Mike Shirley, Robert Dorn, Shannon Riley, Tony McKee, Freddie Bowers, T. J. Collins, Dave Nelson and Ricky Hilley. Honorary escort will be members of the Ladies Adult Senior Class of Restoration Ministries, Lewis Beaube, Lloyd Doolittle, Wayne Brown and Sam Burkett, Angela Pittman and the Staff of Hospice Care of South Carolina.
