Kathy Lynn Proctor Hastings, 68, wife James Franklin "Frank" Hastings, Jr., died Friday, August 7, 2026 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Charles "Biddy" Proctor and Bobbie Simpson Proctor. Kathy worked for many years with Prompt Loans and First Citizens Bank. She was a huge fan of the SC Gamecocks and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. She loved her grandchildren and nieces and nephews and enjoyed spoiling them with treats.

She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Methodist Church.

Kathy is survived by her husband, her sons, Dylan Hastings, Austin Hastings (Jessica), Gabriel McKee and Mark Griffin; her brother, Steve Proctor (Angie) and her mother-in-law, Edna Hastings. She was "Nana" to her grandchildren, Gracie and Caroline Hastings and "Aunt KaKa" to her nieces and nephew, Ashley Proctor, Chase Proctor, Amanda Stowe and Hope Proctor and to her great niece and nephew, Mason and Landon.She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Bunnie Hastings.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Josh Timms officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00-3:00 p.m.
