Obituary
Katherine Neal Stokes, 66, of 800 E. Gold Street, McCormick, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2019, surrounded by her loving family at her home.
Born in Metairie, LA, she was the daughter of Lottie Sahm Meibaum. She received her BS degree in Meteorology from The University of Texas. Kathy served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Air Force, where she was a meteorologist. She was a legal assistant with Jones Day in Dallas, TX.
Surviving in addition to her mother, Lottie, is her son, William J. Sherman, Jr. (Sandra); eight grandchildren, Cornelius, Oscar, Meocha, Robert, Coty, Samantha, Lillie, and Grace; and twelve great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first-born son, Robert Stokes III.
Services will be held at a later date.
