Dr. Katina Clardy-Wright, 69, of 805 Saddle Hill Road, widow of Will Wright, died Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Union, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Dillard Clardy and Jean Smith Clardy. Katina was a graduate of Ware Shoals High School Class of 1963. She received her Bachelor�s degree from Emory University and her Masters and Doctorates from the University of Georgia. Katina was a clinical psychologist for 44 years and was a member of the American Psychological Association, SC Psychological Association and SC Academy of Professional Psychologists. She was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are two cousins, James M. Clardy (Linda) of Inman, and their children and grandchildren and Tab Clardy (Julie) of Lexington and their son; and her "baby " Marko, her beloved dog. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Greenwood Humane Society, PO Box 49776, Greenwood, SC 29649. The family is at the home.
