Kayla Stephenson, 19, of 621 Sandshore Drive, died Thursday, March 19, 2015. Born on August 17, 1995, she was the daughter of Kathy Walters and David Stephenson. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church and was a loving and caring friend and sister. She is survived by her mother and her father; great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Butler of Greenwood; grandparents, Bruce Walters of Greenwood, Karen Walters of Honea Path, Walter Stephenson (Judy) and Eleanor Dobbins, both of Greenwood; her brothers, Justin Stephenson (Lacey), Curtis Walters, Shawn McBride, Waylon Dodgen and Dallas Dodgen, all of Greenwood; uncles and aunts, Robert Stephenson (Jami), Michael Stephenson, Roy Price, Daron Walters (Tanya), Terri Minor (Jeff) and Angel Harris (Darrin), all of Greenwood and Myrtle Tims of Donalds; a niece, Skylar Walters of Greenwood; and nine cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, Landon Hagood of Greenwood. Family members are at their respective homes.
