William Keith Salters, 60, of Greenwood, husband of Janet Wallen Salters, passed away Friday, August 15, 2025 at his home.
Born in Greenwood on November 2, 1964, he was a son of William "Bill" Salters and Roberta Ferqueron Salters.
Keith was the cherished husband of Janet for 29 wonderful years, and together they nurtured a family filled with love and laughter. He was not only a dedicated husband but also a caring father, always willing to lend a hand to those in need, demonstrating a big heart that knew no bounds. He found great joy in fishing and riding motorcycles, where he formed lasting bonds with fellow bikers and spread a message of love and friendship. Keith was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, where he embodied the values of faith and community service.
In addition to his wife, Janet and parents, Bill and Roberta, he is survived by his children, William "Anthony" Salters and Jessica Whitner (Cedric); stepson, Tanner Leopard (Mary Kate Simmons); brothers, Gene Salters (Tammy) and Shane Salters (Jessica); grandson, Landon Whitner; step grandchildren, Avis, Adele, Katy Parker, and Cole; and furbabies, Bella and Elsa.
Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at First Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with the Rev. Kelly Hudgins and Rev. Jay Pruitt officiating. Burial will follow at First Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tanner Leopard, Mark Jennings, Jimmy Tucker, Mario Sepulveda, Perry Powell, and Dean Fanning.
The family will receive friends before the service from 3:00-4:00 p.m. at the church.
