Obituary

Kenneth Hunter Goldman, 80, of 317 Eddy Road in Ninety Six, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at his home. Kenneth grew up in Ninety Six with eleven brothers and one sister, a son of the late J. C. �Pistol� and Flora Pitts Goldman. He was an avid lover of music and lived a joyful life. He loved to do things for others and went on two mission trips to Honduras, where he helped build a clinic and a parsonage. Following each trip, he would come home with no possessions, leaving his guitars and clothes behind. His passion for life could fill a room and he has left a lasting impression on those he loved. Ken served his country in the US Army and was stationed in Mexico. He attended Lee College in Cleveland, TN and retired from Monsanto after 25 years. He was the owner and operator of Emerald Recording and Starfort Records & Publishing. He was a member of Ninety Six Church of God. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Michael Katherine Goldman; eight brothers and a sister. Surviving is his wife of 60 years, Juanita Hancock Goldman, of the home; son, Ronnie Goldman of Greenwood; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Jean Goldman of Ninety Six; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Johnny Martin of Ninety Six; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Jennifer Goldman of Greenwood; daughter, Terri Wooten of Summerville; ten grandchildren, Jenna and Bill Britt, Keller Goldman, Hunter Canfield, Krissie Canfield, Tray and Amber Martin, Hampton Goldman, Austin Wooten and Ayla Wooten and nine great grandchildren, Brady, Kennedy, Emory, Jordan, Jayden, Jonathan, Joshua, Brennan and Addyson. Also surviving are three brothers, Rock, Ted and Ned Goldman, along with many nephews, nieces and cousins.
