Kenneth "Ken" Paul Wood, 68, of 128 Butler Circle, Ninety Six, died Monday, January 8, 2018.

Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late James Harold Wood and Violet Morris Wood. Ken was a U. S. Coast Guard veteran, serving during the Vietnam War and was formerly employed with Eaton as a machine tool specialist. He was a member of the Greenwood Masonic Lodge #91 and of the Methodist faith.

Surviving are two daughters, Shelley Ann Poss and Tara Collins Carroll (Ron), both of Greenwood; two brothers, Gene Wood of Ninety Six and Randy Wood of Ware Shoals; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A memorial service with military and masonic honors will be held at 11 am on Friday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ray Riddle officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
