Kendra Denise Busha', 44, of Greenwood, wife of Brandon Lee Busha', received her "angel wings" Monday, July 24, 2023 at Self Regional Medical Center after a recently known illness.
Born in Greenwood on January 24, 1979, she was the daughter of Barbara Schultz Bush and the late Keith "Heavy" Bush. She graduated from Greenwood High School and Piedmont Technical College. Kendra was employed with the Greenwood Sheriff's Department, as a victim's advocate, her dream job. She attended REALife Ministries.
Kendra is survived by her husband of the home; her mother of Greenwood; two daughters, Delana Grace Busha' of the home and Alexis Leanne Busha' (Joshua Akers) of Greenwood; three grandchildren, Lilly Ryanne Akers of Greenwood, Alyssa Akers, and Madyson Akers, both of Columbia; two brothers, Jason Bush (April) of Hodges and Jamie Bush (Cristy) of Callison; several special nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Patricia Hoffman (Lewis Barker); and her canine companion, "Hope" that followed her every step she made.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lonnie Schultz, Ruby Stamps, and Louise and Tiny Bush and father-in-law, Don Busha'.
Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rodney C. Davenport and Rev. Jason McCary officiating.
Honorary escort will be the staff of Greenwood County Sheriff's Department.
The family will receive friends before the service from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
