The Reverend Harold Kenneth Boone, 79, of 111 Anderson Drive, husband of Nell Davis Boone, died Sunday, January 13, 2013 at his home. Born in Ninety Six, he was a son of the late Grady Harold and Odelle Ellenberg Boone and stepson of Dorothy Vaughn Boone. He was a graduate of Ninety Six High School, North Greenville College, Carson Newman College and the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Rev. Boone pastored churches in Zebulon and Louisburg, NC and in Greenwood, McCormick and Laurens. He was currently serving as pastor of Troy Baptist Church, where he was also a member. Surviving is his wife of the home; his daughter, Kendra Keeney (Bill) of Greenwood; his son, Kenneth Davis Boone of the home; four grandchildren, Julie Kate Keeney of Columbia, Davis Keeney, Julia Boone and Blake Boone, all of Greenwood; and his stepmother, Dot Boone of Greenwood.
