Kenneth Lee Conyers, 79, of Chappells, widower of Joeleen Elledge Conyers, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.

Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Claude and Mary Ellen Turner Conyers. Kenneth worked for Greenwood Mills at both Sloan Plant and Adams Plant where he retired. He enjoyed listening to country music and fishing when he was able. Kenneth was always on the go and enjoyed being outdoors. He formerly attended Harris Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by sisters, Faye Davis and Sandy Fojtik; and grandson, Paul Scott.

Surviving are his children, Carleen Williamson (Lavern), Brenda Medlin (Mike), Debra Wilson and Bradley Scott Conklin; sisters, Ann Hill and Nancy Price (Teddy); brothers, Barry Conyers (Judy) and Timmy Conyers (Kathy); four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Ouzts officiating. Burial will be at Rock Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends before the service at the funeral home from 1-2pm.
