Joel Kenneth Erskine, 67, of 2721 McCormick Highway, husband of Ruby Erskine, died Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Greenwood he was a son of the late Joel and Betty Walters Erskine. He retired as grocery manager from Price Wise and attended South Greenwood Assembly of God.

Surviving is his wife of the home; five daughters, Rhonda McCombs (Michael), Tracy Erskine, Anita Lee (Danny) all of Greenwood, Jennifer Farnacci (James) of Saluda, and Kelly Beckham (Keith) of Bradley; three brothers, Dennis Erskine (Deborah), Wayne Erskine (Sherrie), and Charlie Erskine (Susan) all of Greenwood; twelve grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday at South Greenwood Assembly of God with the Rev. Aaron Hodges and Rev. Danny Lewis officiating. A burial will follow the service at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Michael McCombs, Jamie Farnacci, Keith Beckham, Joshua Erskine, Andy Hamby, and Danny Lee.

Honorary escort will be the Women of The Flower Club.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at Harley Funeral Home and Crematory.
