Kenneth Wayne "Kenny Mac" McElhannon, 65, of Greenwood, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025 at his home.

Born on January 26, 1960 in Greenwood, he was a son of the late James F. McElhannon and Joyce Fitzpatrick McElhannon.

Kenny enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He was an avid bowler and took great pride in maintaining his yard, often finding relaxation while cutting the grass. Kenny was also a deeply devoted fan of the South Carolina Gamecocks. Above all, he loved being with his family. He cherished every moment spent with them, creating warm treasured memories.

He is survived by his sister, Carol McCoy (Howard); nieces, Teresa McCoy and Julie Kneece; nephew, Jamie McElhannon, III; and great nieces, Savannah, Haven, and Tyna.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Frankie McElhannon.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Barry Butler officiating.

The family will be at the home of his sister, Carol.
