Kerry Marion Cooper, Sr, 59, of Greenwood, husband of Tonya Foxworth Cooper, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Hospice and Pallitative Care of the Piedmont after a long, brave and hard fought battle with cancer.
Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late James Perry "Pete" Cooper, Sr. and Rebecca Bullock Adams. Kerry worked for Cardinal Health and Greenwood Mills for over 26 years. His most cherished accomplishment was being an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous for over 16 years, a testament to his strength and commitment to helping others. Kerry was a true family man who found immense joy in spending time with his family and his grandchildren. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Kerry loved following NASCAR, wrestling, and cheering for his favorite teams, the Clemson Tigers and the Atlanta Braves. His life was an inspiration for family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Kerry Cooper, Jr. (Brittinii), Kevin Cooper, Christina Ladousier (Noah) and Rebecca Hart (Sean); brothers, Jim Cooper (Marilyn), Mark Cooper (Lori), and Charles Scarboro (Marsha); sister, Tammy Cooper; grandchildren, Dimitri Gonzalez, Oliver, Elijah and Carter Cooper; along with many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 5 pm on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Harley Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends before the service from 3-5 pm.

The family is at the home of his brother, Jim Cooper, 7227 McCormick Highway, Bradley or at his daughter's home, Christina Ladousier, 507 Oak Avenue, Greenwood.
