James Kevin Coleman, 60, of Batesburg, SC, husband of Robin Elaine Williams Coleman, died Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Lexington Medical Center.

Born in Greenwood, he was a son of Herbert Coleman and the late Barbara Ann Spivey Minor. Kevin was a graduate of Greenwood High School and was formerly employed by The Index-Journal. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and golfing. Kevin was very social and never met a stranger. He loved animals, especially his rescue dog, Chew Chew, and all of his family and friends. He attended Radius Church.

Kevin is survived by his wife of the home; his father and stepmother, Dianne, of Columbia; his daughters, Chrystal Coleman of Batesburg and Caycee Coleman of Leesville; a sister, Angie Voiselle (Stephen) of Greenwood; his brother, Mike Coleman (Debbie) of Hodges; his brother-in-love, James Rittmayer of Bradley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, Kevin was preceded in death by his stepfather, Bobby Minor and a sister-in-love, Janie Scarboro.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on December 15 at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Crowell officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 5 to 6 p.m.
