Kevin Kenneth Cumley, 54, of Cross Hill, husband of Georgette J. Cumley, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024 at his home.

Growing up in "cowboy country" Wray, CO, Kevin relocated from Colorado to Cross Hill, SC, in 2022, following his heart to live on the serene shores of a lake, fulfilling his long-standing dream. A man of action, Kevin was an avid water skier who traded snowy slopes for glassy waters. He lived each day clothed in shorts, embodying his love for warmth and freedom.

A former coach in various sports, coaching youth football and wrestling, Kevin poured his heart into mentoring and guiding aspiring athletes, leaving a lasting impact on their lives.

Fiercely passionate, Kevin was successful in everything he attempted, leaving an indelible mark on those who had the privilege to know him.

Remembered for his unwavering determination and steadfast ways, Kevin's legacy lives on through the love and devotion of his family, including his beloved children and cherished nieces and nephews. His children, Jasz and Erik, in particular, held a special place in his heart, treasuring the bond they shared.
He is survived by his wife, Georgette; children Jasz Marie Tucker and Erik Kenneth Cumley; brother, Casey Cumley (Ginger Sawdy); grandmother, Darlene Cumley; many nieces and nephews; and fur babies, Rocky, Moose, and Lucy aka "Baby Girl".

He was preceded in death by his parents, Danny Kenneth Cumley and Melody Ann Boyes Cumley; grandfather, Bud Cumley; and grandparents, Verna Lou and Claude Boyes.

A rosary will be held at 9:30 am on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church in Foxfield, Colorado, followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 am.
