Obituary
Joye Lane Richey Reynolds, 66, formerly of Greenwood, widow of Charles Thomas Reynolds, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023, at the Pearl at Five Oaks, Simpsonville, SC.
Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Betty Page Richey. Lane was a dedicated nurse for over 30 years having worked at Self Regional Medical Center, Edgefield Medical Center and Long Term Community Care. She taught nursing at Laurens High School vocational program. Lane enjoyed traveling with her husband, especially Tybee Island and Key West. She was very artistic, enjoyed music, boating, and rescuing cats.
Surviving are her sisters, Patrice Martin (Sam) of Greenwood, Clare McGaha (Don) and Merry Wood (Tommy) both of Ware Shoals; brother, Drew Richey of Abbeville; and multiple nieces and nephews.
A private family graveside service will be held at Greenwood Memorial Gardens at a later date.
