Larry Clyde Redd, 76, of 511 Redbud Lane, Ninety Six, husband of Frances Salters Redd, died Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Self Regional HealthCare.
Born in Ninety Six, he was a son of the late Clyde Jefferson and Arlette Smith Redd. He was employed with Greenwood Mills for 21 years and was the owner of L & W Wholesale. Larry loved cattle farming, antique collector cars and auctions. He was a member of Friendship Lodge A.F.M. and First Damascus Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are his children, Larry Redd (Connie) of Bradley and Patricia "Cissy" Redd of the home; a brother, Stanley Redd of Lexington; and grandchildren, Connor, Coleton, and Colby Redd, all of Bradley, Bayleigh Ware of Bradley, and Presleigh Ware of Abbeville.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eldridge Kelley officiating. Burial will follow at Oakbrook Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Marion Salters, Lynn Gibert, Stacie Burnette, AJ Lovell, Dean Berry, and James Salters.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
