Larry Gene Rhodes, 77, of Hampton House, died Wednesday, August 10, 2016.

Born in Greenwood, he was the son of the late Olin M. and Marie Riddle Rhodes. Larry was a U. S. Army veteran and was a retired carpenter. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Olin Eugene Rhodes; a nephew, Billy Scarboro; and a niece, Cathy Scarboro.

Surviving are a sister, Mary Scarboro of Greenwood; and three nephews, Gene Rhodes of Aiken, Mark Rhodes and Kenneth Scarboro, both of Greenwood.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Saturday at Rehoboth United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Chuck Sprouse officiating.
