Lawrence Haulbrook, 83, of 110 Downs Road, Hodges, husband of Ennis Brownlee Haulbrook, died Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at Hospice House. Born in Walhalla, he was a son of the late Elbert and Nancy Phillips Haulbrook. He was retired from the Greenwood Mills Compound and was a US Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Adult Sunday School Class. He was first married to the late Mary Evelyn Haulbrook and then to the late Dorothy Jean Haulbrook. Surviving is his wife, Ennis Brownlee Haulbrook, of the home; a son, Kenneth Lawrence Haulbrook (Janet) of Laurens; a daughter, Elizabeth Evelyn Haulbrook Bryant (Donnie) of Bradley; five grandchildren, Michael Bryant, Russell Bryant, Jason Bryant, Kevin Haulbrook and Chris Haulbrook and ten great grandchildren.
