Lawrence Francis French Jr.,79, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on January 1, 2025, at his home in Ninety Six, South Carolina.

Born on September 2, 1945, in Walpole, New Hampshire, Lawrence lived a full life marked by hard work, love for family, and deep appreciation for the great outdoors.

He was a true family man, finding immeasurable joy in the laughter and love shared with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.Lawrence's hands were always busy, whether he was repairing cars, tackling home projects, or engaging in various outdoor activities.

He is survived by his daughter, Tisha Jernigan (Tommy); son, Gordon French; sisters, Nancy Meade and Stella Roberts; brother, William French; grandchildren, Bryce Latham, Kayce Jernigan, Taylor Godfrey, Harley French, Austin French, and Kyra French; and great grandchildren, Dreyton Clark, Anthony Latham, Ellie Jernigan, and Lyla Walters.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence French, Sr. and Margaret Frechette French and two brothers, Roger French and Eddie French.

The family will receive friends at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday at his daughter, Tisha's home, 307 Hillcrest Drive, Greenwood, SC 29646.

The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
