Leila Yarborough Attaway Riley Peurifoy, 87, of 219 Janeway Avenue, wife of Rev. Harvey Peurifoy died Friday, April 24, 2009, at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Saluda, she was a daughter of the late Capers and Mattie McCarty Yarborough. She was a Saluda High School graduate where she enjoyed playing on the girl�s basketball team. Mrs. Peurifoy was the owner and operator of Miss. Lelia�s Kiddie Corner. She was a member of Matthews United Methodist Church where she was in the Ray Snelling�s Sunday School Class. Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are two daughters; Mrs. Kenneth �Pat� Manley of Greenwood and Mrs. Tim �Libby� Russell of Spartanburg; three stepsons, Wayne Peurifoy and wife Sarah, of Salisbury, NC, Keith Peurifoy and wife Gail, of Spartanburg and Charles Peurifoy and wife Mary Beth, of Clemson; a stepdaughter Mrs. Bill �Pat� Lacoste of Greenwood; a sister Mildred Scurry of Greenwood; a brother Capers �Jr� Yarborough of Saluda; five grandchildren, Tammy Human, Leah Blanton, Joel Manley, Lindsey Russell and Paige Russell; eleven great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; twelve step-grandchildren; and six step-great grandchildren. Mrs. Peurifoy was preceded in death by two husbands, Austin Attaway after 53 years of marriage and second to the late John Riley and a grandson Trevor Manley. Pallbearers will be her nephews. The family is at the home of her daughter Pat Manley, 113 West Laurel, Greenwood. Memorials may be made to Mt.
