Obituary
Leroy Smith, 85, of 520 Old Ninety Six Highway, died Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at his home.
Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Lewis Walter Smith and the late Lizzy James Weeks.
Preceded in death by his wife, Daisy Elane Sweat; and his siblings, Virginia Harvey, Thomas Smith, Arthur Smith, Ralph Smith, Evelyn Worthington and Elen Worthington.
Surviving are his children, Ronnie Smith of Callison, Wanda Owens of Waterloo, Steve Smith and Marvin Smith both of Greenwood, and Brenda Ridge of Gray Court; two sisters, Helen Jeragin of Greenwood and Lunette Gibson of Ware Shoals; a brother, Walter Smith of Greenwood; sixteen grandchildren; and twenty-two great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens Chapel.
Pallbearers will be David Owens, Todd Hughes, Reno Smith, Hunter Owens, Raymond "Wildman" Tolison, Vernon Weathers and Leroy "neighbor Leroy".
Family members are at their respective homes.
