Lester Stephen �Steve� Nelson, 56, died Friday, April 25, 2014. Born in Atlanta, GA, he was the son of Lester D. and the late Edith Lawson Nelson. He was a member of Mathews United Methodist Church. Surviving are his father, Lester Nelson (Murree) of Greenwood; a special friend, Sandy Shockley of Fountain Inn; two step children, Kevin and Steve Shockley, both of Fountain Inn; and a sister, Beverley �Robin� Nelson of Greenwood.
