Elizabeth �Lib� Hill Chapman, 82, of 108 Chapman Court, widow of William Andrew Chapman, died Friday, December 7, 2012 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Laurens, she was a daughter of the late Rhett Raymond and Mamie Hipps Hill. She was retired from Parke-Davis. Lib was an active member of Siloam Baptist Church, where she served in many capacities, including as director of the W.M.U. for many years, a member of the T.E.L. Sunday School Class and the Elderberries Senior Adult Group. Surviving is her son, James Chapman and his wife, Linda, of Greenwood; her brother, Samuel Hill and his wife, Juanita, of Woodruff; two granddaughters, Valerie Leary and her husband, Erek, of Greenwood and Amanda Chapman of Augusta, GA.
