Lillie Ann �Miss Lillie� Nickles, 73, of 119 Singletree Road, widow of Bobby Ray Nickles, Sr., died Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at her home. Born in Saluda County, she was a daughter of the late Alex Newton Howard, Sr. and Dorothy Lillian Fain Howard. She was employed in their family business, The Hungry Hound, and was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church. Surviving are nine children, Robbie Nickles Nguyen (Do Van), Donna Hoang, Angela Duffie Stapleton (Danny Walker), Bobby Ray Nickles, Jr. (Cynthia) and Becky Nickles (William Malone), all of Greenwood, Deborah Duffie Gary (Robert Lee Putnam, Sr.) and Roxie Duffie Rushton, both of Ninety Six, Darrell Wayne Nickles (Julie) of Wrens, GA, and Johnny Ryan (Delaney) of Harlem, GA; a sister, Patricia Ann Howard Moore of Ninety Six; two nieces raised in the home, Sherry Heath Kelly and Tammy Heath Brown (Al), both of Brooklet, GA; 21 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister and her brother.
