Linda Powers Hallman, 67, of Ninety Six, wife of Ronnie Hallman, Sr., died Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Laurens, she was a daughter of the late William and Essie Louise Workman Powers. She retired from Fukoku of SC and was formerly employed by Skanska USA, Kemet of Greenwood and Greenwood Mills, Adams Plant. She was the owner and operator of Linda's Kids Daycare Center in Ninety Six. She was a member of The Needler's Quilting Club and served as treasurer for Cub Scout Pack 96. Linda was a faithful member of Cambridge United Methodist Church, where she was a member and secretary-treasurer of the UMW and taught the nursery.

Surviving is her husband of the home; her children, Ronnie Hallman, Jr. (Tammy) and Jessica Hallman; sister, Jean Balchin (Tommy); brother, Mike Powers (Wendy); and grandchildren, John, Rebecca and Luke, all of Ninety Six.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Pearson.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dan Smyth officiating.

Pallbearers will be Russell Balchin, Wayne Pearson, Curtis Hallman, Angela Evans, Jodi Wilson and Tracy Reynolds.

Honorary escort will be Faith Balchin, Aimee Pearson, Ray Evans, Casey Wilson and Jay Reynolds.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m.
