Linda Gail Holland, 78, passed away on July 31, 2026, in Greenwood, SC at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.

Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Lula Belle Rowland Riddle. 

For many years, Linda was a familiar and welcoming face in the local community. She worked as manager, bookkeeper, and filled many other roles for grocery stores, including BI-LO and Piggly Wiggly. Her true passion lay in her unwavering faith and her devotion to the Lord. She poured her heart into ministry, serving faithfully as a worship leader, choir director, and Sunday school teacher at Jordan Memorial Church, Sandridge Baptist Church, and several other area Baptist churches. Whether leading the congregation in song, teaching children the word of God, or filling any other role needed, she did so with a servant's heart. Above all, her family was her greatest joy. She loved nothing more than gathering her loved ones around her table, filling her home with warmth, laughter, and the wonderful meals she lovingly cooked for them. 

Linda is survived by her devoted husband, James "Irby" Holland; daughter, Tammy Haddon (Lyn); grandchildren, Brittany Farmer (Josh), Wes Haddon, and Logan Haddon; and great granddaughter, Harper Avery Farmer. 

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Ronnie Riddle and Jimmy Riddle. 

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 6th, 2026, at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
