Linda Greer Pope, 68, of 2516 Ridge Road, died Thursday, August 29, 2013, at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Francis Greer Guthrie and Charlie Guthrie. Linda was a member of New Life Pentecostal Holiness Church. Linda was preceded in death by a son, Charles Richard Pope. Surviving is a daughter Lisa P. Waits (Rick) of Hodges; a son, George G. �Jerry� Pope Jr. (Helen) of Ware Shoals; four grandchildren, Stephen Waits (Tracy) of Ware Shoals, Nicole McDade (Justin) of Hodges, Kevin Pope and Tyler Pope of Sarasota, FL; two great grandchildren, Courtney Waits of Ware Shoals and Camden McDade of Hodges.
