Linda Jones Pressley,73, of Greenwood, wife of Jerry Pressley, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Self Regional Hospital.

Born on August 25, 1950, in Greenwood, SC, she was the daughter of the late Harold C. and Geraldine Drake Jones. Linda retired from Greenwood Mills and was a member of First Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to the movies or "picture shows" as she would say. Linda loved traveling, especially to the beach and the mountains. Out of all these things spending time with her grandchildren was the most important. She was also a big animal lover, especially her cats and dogs.

In addition to her husband, Jerry of the home are her children, Tammy Renee Rook (Michael) of Laurens, Michael Pressley, and Stephen Pressley (Katie), both of Hodges; brother, Larry Jones of Greenwood; ten grandchildren including, Chase Pressley, Carlee Rook, Chandler Rook, and Colt Pressley; and fifteen great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Harley Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Melvin Stephan officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends before the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
