Linda Faye Harrison Scott, 71, formerly of 1113 Reedy Creek Road, widow of Earnest Ronald Scott, died Monday, September 15, 2014 at NHC Healthcare. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Earl Edward and Frances Adams Harrison. She was retired from Greenwood School District 50 and was a member of Providence Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Adult Sunday School Class. Surviving are two daughters, Diane Symmes and Michelle Farver (Gary); a brother, William Earl Harrison; grandchildren, Barry Christopher Bowie (Moriah), Andrew Keith Farver and Brandon Lee Farver (Lindsey); and great grandchildren, Dalilah Rose Bowie and Madelyn Christine Bowie, all of Greenwood. She was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Scott. Pallbearers will be Andrew Farver, Brandon Farver, Thomas Gary, Shean McKinney, Richard Allen and Freddie Pope. Honorary escort will be the medical and administrative staff of NHC along with Jerry Horton and Austin Rampey, M.D. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorials be made to HospiceCare of the Piedmont, 408 W.
