Linda G. Joyner Smith, 71, of 34911 Highway 34, Chappells, widow of John Paul Smith, Jr., died Thursday, June 15, 2017 at her home.

Born in Bishopville, she was a daughter of the late Charles B. Joyner, Sr. and Amey Bullock Joyner.

Surviving are four daughters, Mary Smith of the home, Tina Falls of Smyrna, Tracy Fuller and Melissa Schofield, both of Ninety Six; two sons, Dylan Polson of Silverstreet and Frankie Caughman of Fountain Inn; granddaughters, Andrea Falls of Smyrna and Samantha Robinson of Rock Hill; a brother, Michael Joyner of Darlington; brothers-in-law, C. A. Smith (Donna) and Mark Smith (Sandy), both of Ninety Six; sister-in-law, Kitti Joyner of Bishopville; a number of nieces, nephews and great nephews; special friends, Mona Rains of Greenwood and Laura Owings of Ninety Six; and her special pet, Angel.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Chuck Joyner.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Bledsoe and Pastor Linda Dunn officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service on Saturday.
