Obituary

Lois Willis McAllister, 86, of 108 Sherwood Drive, widow of Harold Ray McAllister, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Edgefield, she was a daughter of the late James Monroe and Lettie McGahee Willis. She was employed at Greenwood Mills for over 30 years and later worked at Belk. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Tabernacle.

Surviving are her children, Mary Ann Ouzts (Randy), Dennis McAllister (Deborah), both of Greenwood, and Pam Wengert (Eric) of Mt. Pleasant; brother, Ray Willis of North Augusta; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and her special cat, Chloe.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Faye Rushton; sisters, Edna Robinson and Mary Louise Burnett; and brothers, James Willis, Jr. and Calvin Willis.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Ouzts officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Travis Ouzts, Stacy Ouzts, Justin McAllister, Glenn Fain, Eric Hawthorne, and Kelton Harbin.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
