Lois Elizabeth Nickles Norman, 81 of Greenwood, widow of William T. Norman Jr. passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019 at NHC of Greenwood.

Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late William McKnight Nickles and Mellie Lee Taylor Nickles. Lois retired from Greenwood Mills and was a member of Tranquil United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her children, Dr. Pam Davenport (Richard) of Spartanburg, Tim Norman (Georgianna) of Greenwood and Mike Norman (Cindy) of New Bern, NC; two sisters, Miriam Smith (Terry) and Dorothy Ann Black; five grandchildren, Nicole Gantt (Ren), Will Norman, Libby Davenport, Kate Norman and Eliza Norman; and a great granddaughter, Addison Quarles.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnnie Waller officiating. Burial will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends before the service at the funeral home from 12-1 pm.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of NHC of Greenwood for their love, compassion and patience shown to Lois.
