Loleta May Beard Swindler, 85, formerly of Greenwood, widow of Merle Swindler, died Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Presbyterian Community Home, Clinton. Born in San Diego, CA, she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Fleet Reserve Association and First Christian Church. Surviving are three children, Carol Ann Jackson of Kansas, Barbara May Crowe of Atlanta, GA, and Mary Kay Ward of Greenwood; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
