Lona Garron Calkins, 44, of 762 Pemberton St. Waterloo, wife of Richard �Rick� Calkins, died on Sunday, September 2 , 2012 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of Gerald Garron and Brenda Nicely Garron. She was employed by Mig�s Pizza Castle and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving is her husband of the home; her father of Laurens; her mother and special friend, Jimmy Brock, of Ninety Six; her son, Wayne Calkins of Greenwood; and grandmother, Jean Garron of Waterloo. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Robert Garron, Carson and Mary Nicely. Honorary escort will be Dennis Hogue, Felicia Ellison, Thomas Migdalas, Kosta Migdalas and Doris Boyd.
