Loretta W. Buffington, 78, of 2540 Puckett Town Road, Troy, wife of, Richard J. Buffington, died Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Petra Health & Rehab of McCormick.

Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late, Brady Edison and Nona Dill Watson. She was a member of Troy Baptist Church and a volunteer for the Red Cross.

Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are her children, Miriam Harvley (David) of Charleston, Karen Cromer (Brian) of Ninety Six, Michael Culbertson (Sonja), Nancy Herron, and Brady Lloyd Hudson, all of Greenwood; and a number grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Watson.

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bryan Cox officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
