Louise Holley Hook, 89, wife of Vasco Bishop Hook passed away Sunday, January 04, 2009 at Hospice House. Born in Batesburg, she was the daughter of the late Jesse McCain and Marie Fulmer Holley. Mrs. Hook retired from Greenwood Mills plant #5 where she was in the Quarter Century Club. She was in the Order of Eastern Star and a member of Lowell Street United Methodist Church where she was in the Cheerful Workers Sunday school class. Surviving are her husband of 71 years, of the home; a daughter Jo Marie Ethridge and her husband Tim of Greenwood; three granddaughters: Amy Ethridge of Mt. Pleasant, Julie Shaughnessy and husband Scott of Greer and Leah Martin and husband Britt of Simpsonville; and five great grandchildren.
