Louise Voiselle Kelley, 83, of 220 Georgia Avenue, Greenwood, wife of David Kelley, died Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Hospice House.
Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late George and Gertrude Maddox Voiselle. She retired from Parke-Davis and was instrumental in the formation of the Greenwood Rescue Squad and volunteered as the coordinator for Greenwood Emergency Preparedness. She was a member of South Greenwood Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she was a member of the Helping Hands Sunday School Class and Feeding God's Children.
Surviving is her husband of the home; her son, Wayne Kelley (Cheryl); her sisters, Annette Voiselle and Jannette Voiselle; her brother, Bobby Voiselle (Brenda); two grandchildren, Erin Bannister (Eric) and William Kelley; and a great grandson, Ethan Kelley, all of Greenwood.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at South Greenwood Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Terry Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Thompson, Jared Davis, Tommy McAllister, Ray Brown, Jeremy Davis and Mac Jones.
Honorary escort will be members of the Greenwood Emergency Preparedness Auxiliary and the Class of 34 Helping Hands, along with Albert Bannister, Rev. Lawrence Johnson, James Sanders and Coot Henderson.
The family will receive friends at Harley Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.
