Laura Lucille Brown Alexander, 91, of 885 Bama Road, Cottageville, SC, formerly of Greenwood, widow of Robert E. Alexander, died Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at her home.

Born in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late Henry Allen Brown and Ruby Arnold Hawks. She was a baker for Golden Ring Bakery and a member of South Greenwood Assembly of God.

Surviving are her children, Linda Howell of Cottageville, SC, Bobby Alexander, Donald "Donnie" Alexander (Barbara), both of Greenwood, Jerry Alexander (Joann) of Wesley Chapel, FL, and Larry Alexander (Denise) of Zephyrhills, FL; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and fifteen great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters; a great grandchild, Tyler McDonald; and two great great grandchildren, Tamara Newman and Arnette McDonald.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carroll Harrison and Rev. Matthew Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
