Lucille Anderson Stapleton, 68, 502 McAlister Road, Williamston, widow of William David Stapleton, passed away Monday, February 24, 2020 at her home.

Born in Williamston, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Pauline Morgan Anderson. She was employed by Monsanto.

Surviving are her children, Nikki Barfield (Adam) and Will Stapleton; sister, Nancy Orr; brother, Richard Anderson (Judy); and grandchildren, Chad Long, Meghan Long, and Julie Lang.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Candy Long.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Ouzts officiating. Burial will follow at Oakbrook Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

The family members are at their respective homes.
