Lue Helen Boyd, 80, of 307 Smythe Avenue, Greenwood, wife of Marion Boyd, died Monday, December 24, 2018 at her Goddaughters home.

Born in Newberry SC, she was a daughter of the late Eunice Irene Campbell Walker. Mrs. Boyd was a member of Central Church of Christ. She was employed with Monsanto Canteen for three years and Defenders for seven years.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a goddaughter, Roxanne Sanders; a godson, Russell Davis; three sisters: Bessie Lee Walker, Connie Pearl Walker Oliver and Shelia Oliver Reynolds; along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by two sons, John Earl Hill and Timothy Craig Griffin.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Everette Ward officiating.

Pallbearers will be her godsons: Michael Speach, Garrett Speach, Reggie Speach, Tony Speach and Joe Speach, Jr.

The family will receive friends on Friday at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

The family will be at the home of her goddaughter, Roxanne Sanders, 307 Smythe Avenue, Greenwood.
