Luis �Louie� Ram�n Col�n, Sr., 55, of 201 Stonewood Drive, husband of Betty Ann Col�n, died peacefully on January 6, 2011 at Hospice House. Born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Florentina �Carmen� Lopez and the late Angel Col�n. He grew up in Bronx, New York. SPC Col�n was an active member of the SC Army National Guard serving in the Greenwood, Abbeville and Hodges locations throughout parts of his military career. He served a total of 30 years in the National Guard and was currently a cook. He also worked for Beckman Center for Mental Health as a Trade Specialist IV and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 29 years of the home; a son, Luis Ram�n Col�n, Jr. and his wife Maria of Providence, RI; two daughters, Kina Marie Burton and her husband Thomas �BJ� Burton and Adriana Marisa Col�n, all of Greenwood; two grandchildren, Anaeliz �Mina� Marisol Col�n and Luis Ram�n Col�n, III, both of Providence, RI.
